At #55 press and up, we highly suggest going

to an Hydraulic or Bladder style.

 

BLADDER PRESSES

Bladder presses, working off of your water pressure, are easy to use. Just fill, screw down the top, and turn on the water. No wailing on the ratchet or pumping the hydraulic.

A few tips and cautions:

• Slowly, build up the water pressure, allowing the grapes to gradually be squeezed.

• When the bladder, finally, is fully expanded, just leave the pressure on full.

• It will take about 20-30 minutes, after fully expanded, to press the skins dry.

• Never Fill The Basket Partially.

• Grapes need to Completely Fill The Basket, to the top of the bladder.

• Not enough grapes? Just pre-expand the bladder a bit, until you can fill the basket with grapes.

• Not enough water pressure? Use an air compressor.

The Extra Bladder is highly recommended.

Sure, you may never break the original one. But, oddly enough, they only break

while you're using them. And, the importer doesn't always carry spares.
