VARIETAL DESCRIPTIONS

CHARDONNAY: The El Camino Real Vineyard in the Arroyo Seco region of cool Monterey County, produces a wine with lush tropical fruit flavors that finishes delightfully crisp and lingering.
Arrives as pre-settled juice.
Total availability is limited to
only 500 gallons!

CABERNET SAUVIGNON (Paso Robles): Located in the Templeton Gap with its cooler climate and the rarest of chalky soils is St. Hilaire Vineyard. Their grapes retain the elegant and elusive varietal character that is usually cooked out in warmer micro-climates. Expect rich, lingering flavors and lovely dark cherry/violet/coffee highlights.
Total availability is limited to only 3 tons!

MERLOT (Paso Robles): Located in the Templeton Gap with its cooler climate and the rarest of chalky soils is St. Hilaire Vineyard. Expect rich, soft flavors with boysenberry highlights, with true varietal character.
Total availability is limited to only 3 tons!

(New!) PETITE SYRAH (Lodi): From the Lewis Vineyard (block Clenents Hill-Harney Ranch) premium vineyard in the Lodi appellation. Expect rich, dark, and fruit forward wine, yet very complex. Total availability is limited to only 2 tons!

PETITE VERDOT (Paso Robles): A very limited offering from St. Hilaire Vineyard in the Templeton Gap, with its cooler climate and the rarest of chalky soils. Expect deep, rich, mouthfilling flavors with blueberry/nutmeg highlights. Keep separate or blend into the Cabernet or Merlot.
Total availability is limited to only 1 ton!

SANGIOVESE: Be a Chianti Caballero with these, the principle grapes for Italy's great Tuscan reds. These wines are easy to like with a lush, unpretentious, inviting quality. Super dark clone from White Hawk Vineyards, Cat Canyon, between Santa Ynez and Santa Maria. White Hawk Vineyard, cult-like in popularity, has fantastic grapes. Total availability is limited to only 2 tons!

SYRAH (Paso Robles): For all you Rhone Rangers. Mill Road Vineyard, Paso Robles, actually has the authentique French clones from the Rhone Valley. Lush fruitiness and lingering elegance make this a wonderful wine.
Total availability is limited to only 2 tons!

SYRAH (Santa Barbara County): Expect exceptional, refined fruit with velvet-like tannins from this "Coastal Partner's" vineyard. Located in the gentle rolling hills above the Los Alamos Valley, and a mere 1/2 mile away from our Sangiovese vineyard, this special, low yield, reserve block, has the same sunny hillside exposure; sandy well-drained soil; long, slow growing season; max intensity of blackberry/blueberry fruit and a rich lingering mouthfeel. Previous harvests have gone to the likes of Ojai and Sine-Qua- Non wineries.
Total availability is limited to only 2 tons!

ZINFANDEL/EAST: From San Juan Vineyards, eastside Paso Robles, comes an excellent example of California's almost native grape. 35 year old vines. A rare find. Rich, ripe, raspberry and spice Zin.
Total availability is limited to only 3 tons!

ZINFANDEL/WEST: From Oso Libre Ranch, westside Paso Robles, comes a superb example of lush, ripe, black pepper spiced Zinfandel.
Total availability is limited to only 1 ton!
