CHARDONNAY:
The
El
Camino Real Vineyard in
the Arroyo Seco region of cool Monterey County, produces a wine with
lush tropical fruit flavors
that finishes delightfully crisp and lingering.
Arrives as
pre-settled juice.
Total
availability is limited to
only 500 gallons!
CABERNET SAUVIGNON
(Paso Robles):
Located in the Templeton Gap with its
cooler climate and the rarest of chalky soils
is St. Hilaire Vineyard.
Their grapes retain the elegant and elusive varietal
character that is usually cooked out in warmer micro-climates.
Expect rich, lingering flavors
and lovely dark cherry/violet/coffee highlights.
Total
availability is limited to only

MERLOT
(Paso Robles):
Located in the Templeton Gap with its
cooler climate and the rarest of chalky soils
is St. Hilaire Vineyard.
Expect rich, soft
flavors with boysenberry highlights, with true varietal character.

(New!) PETITE SYRAH (Lodi): From the Lewis Vineyard (block Clenents Hill-Harney Ranch) premium vineyard in the Lodi appellation. Expect rich, dark, and fruit forward wine, yet very complex. Total availability is limited to only 2 tons!
PETITE VERDOT
(Paso Robles): A very limited
offering from St. Hilaire
Vineyard in the Templeton Gap, with its
cooler climate and the rarest of chalky soils. Expect deep, rich, mouthfilling flavors
with blueberry/nutmeg highlights.
Keep separate or blend into the Cabernet
or Merlot.

SANGIOVESE: Be a Chianti Caballero with these, the principle grapes for Italy's great Tuscan reds. These wines are easy to like with a lush, unpretentious, inviting quality. Super dark clone from White Hawk Vineyards, Cat Canyon, between Santa Ynez and Santa Maria. White Hawk Vineyard, cult-like in popularity, has fantastic grapes. Total availability is limited to only 2 tons!
SYRAH (Paso
Robles):
For all you Rhone Rangers. Mill Road Vineyard,
Paso Robles, actually has the authentique
French clones
from the Rhone Valley.
Lush fruitiness and lingering elegance
make this a wonderful wine.

SYRAH
(Santa Barbara County): Expect
exceptional, refined fruit with velvet-like tannins from this "Coastal
Partner's"
vineyard.
Located in the gentle rolling hills above the Los Alamos Valley, and a mere 1/2 mile away from our Sangiovese vineyard,
this special, low yield, reserve block, has the same
sunny hillside exposure; sandy well-drained soil; long, slow growing season;
max intensity of blackberry/blueberry
fruit and a rich lingering mouthfeel. Previous harvests have gone to the
likes of Ojai and Sine-Qua- Non wineries.

ZINFANDEL/EAST: From
San Juan Vineyards, eastside Paso Robles, comes an excellent example of California's almost native grape. 35 year old vines. A rare find. Rich, ripe, raspberry and spice Zin.
ZINFANDEL/WEST:
From Oso Libre Ranch,
westside Paso Robles, comes a superb example
of lush,
ripe, black pepper spiced Zinfandel.

These dates are just guesses, based on last year's harvest. Do not plan your life around these dates. Harvest time can speed up or slow down due to any number of variables. As is stated in the "The Rules of the Harvest", below, you are responsible to be here when the grapes are ripe and ready!
